Exhibitions

In addition to arranging exhibitions in galleries around the world, graffitimundo curates annual collective exhibitions of Buenos Aires street art.

In 2009, graffitimundo ran a pop-up exhibition at Casa L’Inc to celebrate its launch. In true Buenos Aires style, the participating artists painted the walls of surrounding buildings and covered the interior walls of the gallery in murals.

The collective exhibition showcased a wide range of artistic styles, and featured works from jaz, cabaio stencil, rundontwalk, bs as stncl, tec, pum pum, sonni, gualicho, ever, malatesta, parbo, larva, dano & pastel . The one night only pop-up exhibition hosted over 200 people, with beer supplied by Corona, and choripans by the asador from Home Hotel.

In 2010, graffitimundo curated a collective exhibition in London at Pure Evil Gallery, titled “Buenos Aires Calling”. This was London’s first exhibition of art from Buenos Aires street artists, and featured work from rundontwalk, malatesta, bs as stncl, cabaio stncl, tester, pumpum, stencilland, jaz, defi, chu, pmp, tec & orilo. A packed opening night saw hundreds of street art fans brave the London cold and rain, with beer & wine provided by Corona & Argento wines and empanadas from Gaucho Grill.
