Drawing from a strange and unique language of symbols and ambiguous figures, Gualicho explores different facets of human nature. He constructs dense universes in works which are heavily influenced by folk art, religious icons, comic graphics and 60’s psychedelia. Gualicho’s bizarre paintings combine organic structures with industrial elements, creating retro-futuristic scenery in a colorful post-graffiti style.
